ABOUT HL7 EU
Developing standards since 1987
HL7 Europe is the European office of HL7 International, the global standards developing organisation for exchanging electronic health information (www.hl7.org).
It was established in 2010 in Brussels to address European standardisation requirements in digital health.
HL7 Europe supports the 22 national HL7 Affiliates across Europe, and works with all stakeholders in the creation of health information technology standards that are widely and easily used, enabling interoperability in healthcare and the development of the European Health Data Space.
